Choplet Studios ("we", "our", "us") operates the Validator Applet (the "App"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our mobile application and related services.

We collect only the minimum data necessary to provide and improve our services.

a. Information You Provide

The App does not require you to create an account or provide personal information. Usage is fully anonymous.

b. Automatically Collected Data

When you use Validator Applet, the following data may be collected automatically:

  • Device ID: Used to associate tracked validators with your device.
  • Tracked Validators: The validators you choose to monitor are stored for your convenience.
  • Usage Data: Certain data such as app interactions, feature usage, and session duration may be collected anonymously through analytics services (e.g., Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics) to help improve app performance.

2. Use of Data

We use collected information solely for the following purposes:

  • To display validator tracking information.
  • To provide push notifications about validator events or updates.
  • To maintain and improve the functionality and performance of the App.
  • To analyze anonymous usage patterns for product improvement.

3. Data Storage and Security

Your tracked validator preferences and device ID are stored securely in a MongoDB database hosted on our custom server.

We take appropriate measures to protect all data transmitted to and from our servers. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission over the Internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute data security.

4. Third-Party Services

Validator Applet uses trusted third-party services for hosting, analytics, and notifications. These services may collect information according to their own privacy policies.

We currently use (or may use in the future) the following providers:

  • Firebase (Google LLC) – for notifications and analytics
  • Google Analytics – for anonymous usage tracking
  • MongoDB (self-hosted) – for secure data storage

5. Public Data

All validator information displayed within the App is sourced from public blockchain APIs. This data is already publicly available and is not considered personal or private information.

6. Push Notifications

The App uses Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) to deliver notifications regarding validator performance, updates, or status changes.

You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

Validator Applet does not store any personal data.

If you uninstall the App, all locally stored information (including tracked validators) will be permanently deleted.

If you contact us regarding data removal, please note that no personal data is stored on our servers.

8. Your Data Protection Rights (GDPR & CCPA)

Depending on your location, you may have certain data protection rights:

  • Right to Access: You may request information about any data we hold (though we do not store personal data).
  • Right to Correction or Deletion: You can delete all app data by uninstalling the App.
  • Right to Object or Restrict Processing: You can opt out of analytics by disabling data collection in your device settings (if supported).
