Monad Applet

Last Updated: April 24, 2026

Choplet Studios ("we", "our", "us") operates the Monad Applet (the "App"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our mobile application and related services.

By using Monad Applet, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only the minimum data necessary to provide and improve our services.

a. Information You Provide

The App does not require you to create an account or provide personal information. Usage is fully anonymous. Any wallet addresses, favorite validators, or tracked stake accounts you enter are stored exclusively on your device using local storage and are never transmitted to our servers.

b. Automatically Collected Data

When you use Monad Applet, the following data may be collected automatically:

  • Usage Analytics: Anonymous usage data such as app interactions, feature usage, screen views, and session duration is collected through Firebase Analytics to help improve app performance and user experience.
  • Device Information: General device information (e.g., device type, operating system version, screen resolution) may be collected as part of analytics to optimize the App for different devices.
  • Crash Reports: In the event of an app crash, anonymous diagnostic data may be collected to help us identify and fix issues.
  • Push Notification Data: If you enable notifications, we store a randomly generated device identifier, a push notification token (Apple Push Notification service / Firebase Cloud Messaging), your notification preferences, and the public validator addresses you choose to track. This data is used solely to deliver push notifications and is not linked to any personal identity or account.

2. Use of Data

We use collected information solely for the following purposes:

  • To maintain and improve the functionality and performance of the App.
  • To analyze anonymous usage patterns for product improvement.
  • To identify and fix bugs and crashes.
  • To understand which features are most valuable to users.
  • To deliver push notifications for events you have opted in to (e.g., validator alerts).

3. Data Storage and Security

All user-entered data — including wallet addresses, favorite validators, and tracked stake accounts — is stored exclusively on your device using local storage. We do not store any personal or user-specific data on our servers.

If you enable push notifications, a randomly generated device identifier, a push token, your notification preferences, and the public validator addresses you track are stored on our servers strictly for the purpose of delivering notifications. This data is not linked to any personal identity, account, email, or wallet address.

Anonymous analytics data is processed by Firebase Analytics (Google LLC) and is subject to Google's security practices and infrastructure.

While we take appropriate measures to protect all data, no method of electronic storage or transmission over the Internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute data security.

4. Third-Party Services

Monad Applet uses trusted third-party services for analytics and blockchain data retrieval. These services may collect information according to their own privacy policies.

We currently use the following providers:

  • Firebase Analytics (Google LLC) — for anonymous usage analytics and crash reporting
  • Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google LLC) and Apple Push Notification service (Apple Inc.) — for delivering push notifications
  • Monad RPC Providers — for retrieving public blockchain data (validators, blocks, transactions, staking information)
  • Third-party APIs — for token price data, TVL metrics, and ecosystem news aggregation

These services are used in accordance with their respective privacy policies.

5. Public Blockchain Data

All blockchain information displayed within the App — including validator details, stake amounts, delegation data, network statistics, block metrics, and transaction feeds — is sourced from public Monad blockchain APIs. This data is already publicly available on the blockchain and is not considered personal or private information.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

Monad Applet does not store any personal data on our servers. All user-specific data is stored locally on your device.

If you uninstall the App or clear the App's data, all locally stored information — including favorite validators, tracked wallets, and stake account data — will be permanently deleted.

Push notification data (device identifier, push token, notification preferences, tracked validator addresses) is automatically removed from our servers when you disable notifications from within the App or uninstall the App. If you would like us to delete this data manually, you may contact us at the email address below and we will remove it on request.

Anonymous analytics data collected by Firebase is retained according to Google's data retention policies and cannot be linked back to individual users.

7. Your Data Protection Rights (GDPR & CCPA)

Depending on your location, you may have certain data protection rights:

  • Right to Access: You may request information about any data we hold. As we do not store personal data on our servers, all your data is accessible directly on your device.
  • Right to Deletion: You can delete all app data by uninstalling the App or clearing the App's local storage through your device settings.
  • Right to Object or Restrict Processing: You can opt out of analytics data collection by disabling analytics permissions in your device settings.

If you are a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA), you have specific legal rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

If you are a California (U.S.) resident, you have specific legal rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).

To exercise these rights, you may contact us using the details below.

8. Children's Privacy

Monad Applet is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete such information.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.

We recommend reviewing this policy periodically for any updates.
